    • Do you know which location in Missouri? I have a Hardesty relative that settled in Missouri in the 1830′s

        Yes. I believe it was the Indian creek settlement..thats by St. Louis…John Hardesty /Henrietta Chaney. He was a cooper.This could be wrong , I lose track of John Hardesty, and his son William Hardesty,(I’ve heard stories that he (william)was killed by Indians in 1815. ) I will be going to Kentucky this summer and will check out a John Hardesty that died in Springfield Kentucky.1816 +- this could be my John..please let’s keep in touch. (It looks like we could be Cousins. Later bill hardesty (Lonnie)
